Note
If you experience problems with your domain not working, then you might need to contact Bluehost support.
If you have a domain from Bluehost, then you need to reconfigure your DNS settings to point the domain/subdomain at JotUrl servers.
- Log in to your Bluehost account and open your product.
- Click on Domains, then click on Zone Editor.
- Scroll down until you see the Add DNS Record section.
- if you want to configure a domain (e.g., domain.ext), please follow these steps:
- Enter @ in the Host record text box
- Select A as the Type
- Enter JotUrl's IP address
65.52.146.52
in the Points to text box. - Click Add record.
- If you also need the www domain, enter www in the Host record text box
- Select A as the Type
- Enter JotUrl's IP address
65.52.146.52
in the Points to text box. - Click Add record.
- If present, remove all records AAAA (IPv6) for @, www
- If you want to configure a subdomain, if you want to configure a subdomain/third-level domain (e.g., go.domain.ext), please follow these steps:
- Enter your subdomain without the root domain (e.g., if your subdomain is go.domain.ext, you have to enter go, if your subdomain is go.test.domain.ext, you have to enter go.test) in the Host record text box
- Select CNAME as Type
- Enter
cd.joturl.com
in the Points to text box. - Click Add record.
