The JotUrl Media Library is a container for all the images uploaded for your projects.
Inside the Media Library, you can manage all the files you uploaded by your device and all the external files that you imported via URL.
You can simply reach the Media Library once you have logged into your account.
Click on your account icon and select the "Settings" option.
In the new drop-down menu select "Media Library".
You will have access to all files previously uploaded by you. The images will be presented with specifications and data, in order to help you in recognition. At the top right you can find a search filter to help you find one of your images more easily.
If you want to remove one of the images you have uploaded you can do it very simply by clicking on the trash can icon.
Through the "Manage" button you can view your contents more in-depth and interact with them, or directly upload others.
On the right of the screen, you will find filters that can identify media cataloged as "external" or as "not external".
The "external" contents are all those contents imported from external URLs, and which have not been uploaded directly from your devices.
By clicking the "external" checkbox, you can only view the contents that you have uploaded from external URLs. You can interact with the file to change its name or to delete the file through the buttons you see below the image.
By clicking on the "not external" checkbox you will see all the files uploaded from your device. Also in this case you can change the name of the file or delete it through the buttons you see below the preview of your image.
To the left of the screen, you have two more buttons beside the "Media Library" button.
- Upload File = Through this option you can upload new files into your image gallery. Just drag & drop your files or upload them from your device.
- External Medium = Through this option you can upload new external files into your Media Library. You simply have to copy the URL of the image you want to import, decide the name of your image and click the "Send" button.
NB: The URL of your image must request the HTTPS protocol to be loaded into JotUrl.
It is also possible to access the Media Library within some options of the JotUrl Tracking Links, for example in JotBio ( formerly InstaUrl).
The screen in this case is slightly different.
At the top, you can find maximum dimensions, maximum height, and maximum width to make your image valid.
These maximum sizes change depending on the type of image you are working on.
At the top right there is a default filter "without filters" which offers the possibility to view all the media in your Media Library regardless of their width, height, or size.
If this option wasn't there, you wouldn't be able to see all of your media, but only those that meet the maximum size requirements.
This way you can view all the files you have at your disposal without confusion.
Within some options, the Media Library allows you to insert external content even without having to upload that file to the Media Library, you just need to paste the URL of your picture.
NB: Also in this case the external image inserted with the URL must respect the conditions and the maximum dimensions or it cannot be usable.
