Can I track ClickBank conversions?

In order to track offers obtained from Clickbank you will need to use TID conversion tracking.

Step 1. Enable Instant Notification feature in ClickBank 

To enable instant notification feature please do the following

1. log in to your ClickBank account
2. click the Vendor Settings tab
3. click My Site
4. scroll down and find the Advanced Tools section and click on Edit on the right
5. click the Request Access link next to the Instant Notification URL field 
6. fill out the form, review the terms of use and acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms of use
7. click the Save Changes & Request API Access button at the bottom of the form
8. click the Save Changes button.

Step 2. Save ClickBank Secret Key in JotUrl

1. in ClickBank, go to My Site > Advanced Tools and click on Edit 
2. copy the Secret Key 
3. in JotUrl go to Settings > Conversions and paste the Secret Key
4. click Save 

 

Step 3. Copy the Postback link to ClickBank

1. in JotUrl go to Settings > Conversions and copy the Postback link (this link appears only after adding the secret key).
2. in ClickBank, go to My Site > Advanced Tools and click on Edit 
3. paste the Postback link in the Instant Notification URL field, select version 7.0  and click the TEST IPN button

 

Step 4. Enable the Postback URL feature of your conversion

In JotUrl, navigate to Conversions, edit a conversion and enable the flag Enable postback URL for this conversion. Set the field Select the affiliate network for automatic configuration to ClickBank.

WARNING: With the ClickBank integration, it is not possible to distinguish which conversion code generated the purchase, therefore the conversion will be assigned only to the first conversion code associated with the tracking link and for which the "Enable postback URL for this conversion" option has been enabled and the affiliate network is "ClickBank."

WARNING: Since the integration between JotUrl and ClickBank uses the tid URL parameter to track the conversion, make sure not to overwrite this URL parameter when redirecting to the ClickBank offer.
